Leigh Schelvis runner up for The Charles Holland Award

John Gaunt & Partners are proud to announce Senior Solicitor, Leigh Schelvis as runner up in the inaugural Charles Holland Award which was awarded at the Institute of Licensing Gala Dinner held on the 27 November 2025.

From the 10 finalists, 3 were shortlisted to attend the Gala, Leigh was the only private practice solicitor and the only non-local authority professional who progressed through to final stages of the award.

In considering Leigh application judges were impressed “ with his excellence across multiple areas of licensing and his generosity in supporting colleagues at local, regional, and national levels. A legal professional who has chosen to specialise in licensing, Leigh has already contributed significantly to IoL projects and events.”
